Event Information

Rockhampton's Great Western Hotel Arena will celebrate New Year in spectacular style, launching the 2010 Professional Bull Riders (PBR) Australia season with two nights of no hold barred entertainment.

Held on Wednesday, December 30 and Thursday, December 31, the Bundaberg Rum PBR Touring Pro Rockhampton will pit 40 of Australia's toughest athletes against a pen of the rankest bulls this nation can muster.

The Bundaberg Rum PBR Touring Pro also marks the return to Queensland competition of Aussie superstar bull fighter Shane "Maddog" Simpson.  Ranked one of the top five bull fighters in the world, Simpson has spent the past three years working on the ultimate bull riding stage, the PBR Built Ford Tough Series in the USA.  

Topping off the atmosphere of the New Year's bull riding extravaganza is the monster video screen for instant replays and up to date information, and hot local band Shoeless Joe who will continue the entertainment after the bull riding on both nights
