The PBR Invades Marrabel SA!
Australia’s Premier Bull Riders head for Marrabel

(January 31, 2012) – One of the toughest sports on earth, the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) returns to the Marrabel Rodeo Grounds on Saturday 25th February for an event like no other.  It will bring with it all the extreme action and super star match ups between the best bulls and the most accomplished bull riders from around Australia.

The Aldinga Home Improvements Marrabel Bull Ride sanctioned by PBR will feature 25 riders all competing over 2 rounds, with the top 8 scores then riding off in the Championship Round and a chance to match their skills against 8 extremely tough bulls from two of Australia’s leading stock contractors.

PBR events are more than just an action packed sporting competition, studies have shown that they also provide a great economic boost for the local community attracting attendees from both inter and intra state, creating a key signature event for the region.

Before any of the pro bull riders can lay claim over $11,000 in prize money and the sort after trophy buckle, they’ll have to overcome a pen of the rankest bulls assembled.   These bulls with hulking reputations are renowned for their electrifying intensity and athletic bucking styles.

Taking on a tonne of beast is one big feat and when it is done by the best cowboys in the country, on the back of the nation’s most malicious bulls, its edge of your seat sporting entertainment from start to finish.  Three hours of dangerous drama on dirt, 50 buck outs, huge video screen and a chest-thumping sound system, followed by live band the ‘Barking Ants’ until late.  Marrabel will deliver one of the best nights of entertainment you’ll ever experience.
