The PBR Invades Condobolin NSW!
Australia’s Premier Bull Riders head for Condobolin this October Long Weekend

(August 11, 2011) – Saturday September 11th will be a night filled with rank bulls, high scores and big wrecks as the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) Tour comes to the Condobolin Pony Club and Campdraft Grounds for a 7.00pm showdown as the nation’s best bull riders prepare to go head to head against some of the states nastiest bucking bulls.

Condobolin will be the first NSW event to follow on from the very successful PBR Australian Cup Series held in Brisbane, Townsville, Newcastle and Sydney during June and July.   The Condo Chutes and Utes PBR Touring Pro Division will showcase a top line up of bull riders from across Australia.   With only four events remaining before the PBR Australian Cup Series Tamworth Invitational, riders need to make to most of each and every stop in order to cement a position.

The event will feature 2011 Australian Champion Jock Connolly from Charters Towers North Queensland; Connolly is on the verge of making the cut for the lucrative PBR Built Ford Tough Series in the USA.  2009-2010 National Champion David Kennedy will also return to Condobolin to lead the charge in.

The PBR’s Touring Pro Division offers bull riders the opportunity to compete in PBR sanctioned events, while earning money to qualify for the PBR's Australian Cup Series and the elite Built Ford Tough World Finals in Las Vegas, NV.

Fans will also get to witness the bull power, which will be equal to the task with two of the best stock contractors in New South Wales bringing their very best pen of bucking bulls.  The 2010 PBR Australian Champion Bucking Bull Lab Rat owned by

George Hempenstall from Yass  will be a certainty for the deciding Championship Round. With L&M Rodeo Co also set to supply a pen that will pack a punch to produce some spectacular buck offs and high point rides.

The Condobolin Rodeo Committee have a full weekend of events scheduled for the  Pony Club and Campdraft Grounds with gates opening at 10.00am, for the trade fair and Red Dirt Run Cutting Competition.  PBR bull riding action starts at 7.00pm.  Tickets are available from JN Straney & Son or at the gate.
