The PBR Invades Cooyar Qld!
Australia’s Premier Bull Riders head for Cooyar
(Feb 1, 2011) – Saturday February 19th will be a night filled with rank bulls, high scores and big wrecks as the Professional Bull Riders Tour comes to the Cooyar Show for a 6pm showdown as the Nation’s best bull riders prepare to go head to head against some of the states nastiest bucking bulls.
Already confirmed to return to this year’s event are the Mundubbera brothers Matt and Craig Postle. Both brothers have been in sensational form with Matt being the defending champion for the Cooyar event, whilst brother Craig was crowned the 2010 PBR Rookie Champion at the recent National Finals in Tamworth.
The event will also feature 2010 Australian Champion contender, Chris Lowe from Uralla who after making a strong challenge for the Australian Title finished in second place. Joining the Postle brothers and Lowe will be host of challengers who will all be jostling for positions as they strive to become seeded in the PBR Standings and the race for the 2011 Australian Title.
The PBR’s Challenger Series offer upcoming bull riders the opportunity to compete in PBR sanctioned events, while earning money to qualify for the PBR's Australian Cup Series and the elite Built Ford Tough World Finals in Las Vegas, NV.
Fans will also get to witness the bull power, which will be equal to the task with three or the best stock contractors in Central & South Queensland bringing their very best pen of bucking bulls. 2009 PBR Australian Champion Bucking Bull Wild Thing will
lead the charge and local bull Hollywood Boulevard will be set to continue his impressive form in the Championship round.
