Aussie Ben Jones Wins on World’s Premier Bull Riding Stage
Australian Bull Rider Ben Jones today won his first ever Professional Bull Riders (PBR) Built Ford Tough Series event, a full twelve years after making his debut in the USA on this ultimate bull riding stage.
Jones who hails from Goulburn, New South Wales claimed the Jack Daniel’s Invitational event title after an impressive weekend in Nashville, Tennessee.
Thirty-one-year-old Jones finished second in the first round on Super Hou (Jeff Robinson Bucking Bulls) with 88.75 points, before taking yet another second in round two riding Maverick (Lufkin Ranch & Rodeo) for 87.25 points. Then in the vital championship round, Jones went the eight-second journey on Buffalo Hump (Jeff Robinson Bucking Bulls) for a magnificent 90.25 points to close out the event win.
