The twenty five year old bull rider from Uralla NSW has ridden his way into a commanding position mid way through the PBR season.  Currently seated in the top four of the Championship Standings and a commitment to the remainder of the PBR Australia season, Chris Lowe is in a great position to win the coveted PBR Australia Championship Buckle and a spot at this year’s PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals in Las Vegas in October.

How did it feel to win the Saturday night event at the PBR Troy Dunn International?
I didn't do any good on the Friday night of the event so I was just happy to get two ridden on the Saturday night which was enough to get me into the World Challenges at Brisbane and Sydney.

We first started to see you shine in PBR events at the 2009 Bundaberg Rum PBR National Finals. You followed this up with a win at the PBR Challenger Series Toowoomba.  What do you think has made the difference in your riding this year?
This is my first full year competing in the PBR series which has allowed me to get on good bulls and win good money, giving me more ambition and opportunity to make it to America.

Do you have a favorite bull in the PBR?
Buck Owens and Wild Thing

How did you get into bull riding?
I started riding steers at a young age and moved onto riding bulls when I was 16.

What are your plans for the remainder of the 2010 PBR season?
I want to do all of the PBR events left in the season to make to the top of the standings.

What are your bull riding career goals?
To get to the states and get into the Built Ford Tough Standings.
