Welcome to the PBR Australian News page. Here you will find press releases we have posted in addition to latest PBR Australia news.
Stock contracting father and son team Trevor and Tony Dunne from Duaringa, Queensland picked up the prestigious event champion bucking bull buckles at both the 2010 PBR Troy Dunn International and the 2010 PBR World Challenge (Brisbane) for the supreme efforts of their massive white bull That’s Gold.
Although huge in stature That’s Gold proved his amazing athleticism, making incredibly short work of world top 50 ranked riders Caleb Sanderson, Cody Campbell and Brendon Clark. The Dunne’s gave PBR’s Jackie Dunn a rundown on the facts, figures and history of this superb animal.

Age: 5 years old
Weight: 860kg
Breed: Charbray
Did you breed the bull, if so what is his breeding, if not where did he come from?
Yes we bred him. He is by Charlie out of a Brahman x cow.
Does the bull have any special traits that set him apart from other bulls?
His explosive start and extreme athleticism sets him apart.
What are your plans and goal for this bull in the future?
To keep him fit and healthy so he can continue performing as a top PBR bull. Also to win a PBR Australia bucking bull of the year title.
Can you tell us a bit about your breeding program and your plans for the kind of bulls you would like to turn off in the future?
We have a wide rage of bloodlines and a great depth of breeding in our females. We choose the sires to go with each cow on an individual basis. To try and produce an animal that is well suited to this climate and perform as a bucking bull or a breeding female.
What do you enjoy most about being a PBR Stock Contractor?
We enjoy taking our bulls to all PBR events, and the interaction with other contractors and all PBR personal.
